“…Admit you were toxic. You poisoned me just for another dollar in your pocket.” -Grandson

I apologize that I am a bit late, but actually, I might post, in the next weeks, later than  usual due to the business of this month. Last month to go. Finally! 😃

I decided to share some of the most meaningful or realistic quotes I’ve read. (If you find any faults in my blog, please feel free to tell me.)

“I raise my flags

Don my clothes

It’s a revolution,  I suppose

We’re painted red, to fit right in.“- Imagine Dragons (The last lyric hit hard.)

“You can’t wake up, this is not a dream

You’re part of a machine, you’re not a human being…” -Halsey (It’s so true. People are trying to fix whatever flaws they have, but no matter how hard they try, they cannot hide it. You’re not a coded machine. You cannot just edit your code. Your imperfections are like your limbs since they are a part of you; thus making them essential. You should display them proudly and with confidence, even if that limb is slightly scarred.)

“Dealing with backstabbers, there was one thing I learned. They’re only powerful when you got your back turned.” -Eminem ( I do not think any comments are needed for Eminem’s quotes. He is Eminem, which is explanation enough.)

“I do this with conviction
I write truths and never fiction
My disease is what you fed
I can’t stop with my ambition
Like a missile on a mission
I’m a force that you will dread.” -The Score (If you want to do something well, do it with passion. If you’re not passionate, then don’t do it at all.)

“Lost his old occupation
But it wasn’t immigration
It was a machine, automation that replaced him.”-Grandson (DEBATE: do you think robots will eventually replace and fulfill humans’ roles?)

“Until the philosophy, which holds one race superior
And another
Is finally
And permanently
Discredited and abandoned…

…And until there’s no longer
First class and second class citizens of any nation
It’s on
And until the color of a man’s skin is of no more significance than the color of his eyes
We say war.”- Grandson (I wonder who started the whole racism matter and never finished it.)

“I shout, I swear, I  get angry, I get scared
I fall, I break, I mess up, I make mistakes
But if you can’t take me at my worst
You don’t deserve me at my best” -Machine Gun Kelly ( In my opinion, this is what trust is based on, among other things, that is.)

“How can sky be the limit when there is footprints on the moon?”- Logic (We are humans. We are flawed. We are finite. But when it comes to our creativity, ability, and ambition, we are limitless.)

“There’s so much grey to every story- nothing is so black and white.”- Lisa Ling (Soon, I  will be uploading a kind of…self-debate, I guess you could call it, about colours. Be patient with me. 😊)

“See it for what it is, not what you want it to be.” -Unknown (Holler for politics.)

“Fear is not real. Fear is a choice.” -Will Smith (Fear is like a soldier; ready to attack when the enemy is showing weakness. Yet the question is, do you have  multiple defenses, or one single wall? Are your soldiers that offer protection for the main-base trained enough? Or are they not? Though fear can sometimes be an ally. If you are not afraid, then what will give you the motive, the boost, the challenge to push those hypothetical illusions away and succeed? Fear can be your ally, friend, enemy and regrettable hesitation. It’s your choice to decide what it is.)

“The price of your greed, is your sons and your daughters…”- Grandson (And they say “Kids these days” or “What have we come to?”… Ever heard of consequences?)

“No matter how much a snake sheds skin, it’s still a snake.” -Unknown ( This quote does not indicate people do not change. I strongly believe they do; however, while the person is in the procedure of changing, you do not fully trust them again until they prove over and over again that they are worthy of your trust.)

Everyone is afraid of something. We fear things because we value them.  We fear losing people because we love them. We fear dying because we value being alive. Don’t wish you didn’t fear anything. All that would mean is that you didn’t feel anything.” -Quote shared from Leo Lockomora’s blog.

“Shedding a few tears does not make you less of a man.” -Quote shared from Leo Lockomora’s blog.

Annnnd that’s pretty much it. OKAY, mayyyybe oneee more.

“Actions speak louder than words do, it’s pretty quiet, isn’t it?
Look at the world we live in, defined by comment sections
Surround yourself with people that challenge how you think
Not people that nod their head and act like they agree
Those people will cut you open just to watch you bleed
Always be yourself, not the person that you pretend to be, no!
These people gon’ tell you that you will never make it
Then when you do, they gon’ say they knew you were goin’ places
That’s just how it works, next thing you know you’ll be overrated
Hearing people say they miss the “old you, ” it’s crazy, ain’t it?
And perfect people don’t exist, so don’t pretend to be one
I don’t need pats on the back from people for my achievements
When I die I wanna know that I lived for a reason
Anyone can take your life, but not what you believe in, no!” -NF

Alright, I’m done. Until next week!
